The bar staff at the TradeWinds Lounge rated highly amongst guest reviews, with many commenting on the friendly and positive attitude of the staff which set the tone for a great evening enjoying drinks with friends.

The 65,000 sq ft of water slides adjacent to the hotel did not go unnoticed by parents traveling with their children, with many commenting that this was the highlight of their stay.

A number of previous guests to the hotel made special mention of the smooth and efficient check-in by the front desk staff which set the tone for their stay. The famous welcome cookie was provided to guests on their arrival, which made them truly happy!

Some guest reviewers left comments indicating that they encountered a number of issues with amenities that could have been rectified by a better maintenance program. Common complaints included the air-conditioning not working, toilets overflowing and not flushing and broken furniture.

Some guests staying at the hotel on check-in were disappointed at the standard of cleaning of their room, commenting that it was dusty, smelly and dirty. Some guests also expressed their frustration that their rooms were not cleaned by housekeeping staff during their stay. Requests for additional cleaning was generally delayed as housekeeping staff struggled to cope with the demand from guests.

A number of guests without their own transportation felt a little isolated by the hotel's location. A number of reviews also made comment that the hotel is not convenient to the closest airport which is 30-40 minutes from the hotel. Public transport is also difficult to access from the hotel's location.
