Guests overwhelmingly liked the convenient location of this hotel close to Copacabana Beach. Not only was it handy for hanging out at the beach, but also for catching the metro nearby in order to explore other parts of Rio. There were reportedly plenty of shopping and dining options nearby and most guests described the neighborhood as pretty safe, even after dark. However, some reviewers said it was nevertheless advisable not to display valuables while out and about. Views from the rooftop terrace impressed most guests, who could see the Christ the Redeemer statue on clear days.

The friendly and helpful personnel attracted plenty of positive reviews from guests, who described them as hospitable and kind. There were reports of occasional language barriers with some personnel as there were only a few English-speakers.
