Nice and quiet on the second floor
The main building is on two floors. Guests have mentioned if you are staying for peace and quiet you may want to ask for a second floor room which is a lot quieter than the first floor.

The owners are always at hand to help, reception are very courteous and remember those who have stayed before. Many returning families have mentioned how well looked after they have been and will keep coming time and time again.

Dated and needs money spending on it
There are comments about how dated the decor and furniture is, some of the rooms have furnishings that don't match, seem old fashioned and are in need of a lick of paint. This does not however put people off, they just feel it could do with being updated.

The bedding is mentioned quite a lot as being old and shabby. Some people describe how old the fabric is and some have stains on them. This is in the cottages as well as the main building.
