Guests staying at Victoria reportedly loved the panoramic vistas of the Danube River and the Hungarian Parliament, which they could enjoy from their floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition, these rooms were thought to be very spacious and apparently have comfy beds, are perfectly clean and are well appointed.

Breakfast here is reportedly of a high standard, with a very wide range of cooked-to-order, cold, Hungarian and international dishes available, and pleasant service from the staff. Some guests were also chuffed to find complimentary afternoon teas were served in the music room. On top of this, the staff was thought polite and helpful, and proved very helpful in recommending where to go, how to get there, or even booking activities for the days ahead.

Those who stayed said the location was great for visiting some of the main attractions of Budapest — by foot, you can easily reach Chain Bridge, Buda Castle, Matthias Church and  Fisherman's Bastion. The city centre and the parliament across the river are also within walking distance, or just an easy Metro ride away.

The only complaint those who stayed at Victoria really had was that there was no kettle to be found in the rooms, for when making a cup of tea or coffee would hit the spot. However, considering the otherwise great experience, most forgave this.
