Set within a Victorian villa that dates back to 1863, the Artica Art & Accommodation is a boutique property that doubles up as both a B&B and art gallery. Located in Dunedin's picturesque Port Chalmers suburb, the accommodation is a six-minute stroll from the Flagstaff Lookout. Conveniently positioned on the ground floor, the studio at the Artica Art & Accommodation is fitted with a seating area, large en-suite bathroom and private deck overlooking the front garden. The studio also contains a fridge, tea/coffee-making facilities, toaster, DVD player and flat-screen TV. Free private parking is available on-site at the B&B. Wi-Fi is also complimentary to access throughout the building. For an additional fee, guests can sample a continental breakfast upon request. The breakfast offering comprises of croissants, freshly baked bread, cheese, ham, fresh fruit, preserves, and more. George Street, Port Chalmers’ main street with its restaurants and shops, can be reached in about five minutes by foot. Dunedin CBD is approximately a 15-minute drive.
