Situated in central Panama City, right opposite the Octavio Menendez University campus, AZ Hotel & Suites offers trendy modern accommodation and a lovely little pool terrace. The rooms are simply decorated and furnished, feature cooling tile on the floors and of course air conditioning as well. There’s a small pool deck, where guests can sit out in the sun or take a refreshing plunge. There is free parking onsite, and Wi-Fi is free and accessible throughout the property. An American buffet breakfast is available onsite. As for the other two meals, there are many great dining options nearby, including the very highly rated Loving Hut, the place to go in Panama City for great Vegan food. The Tocumen Airport is about a 30-minute drive away. Shuttles are available for an extra charge. Guests looking to visit the impressive Cinta Costera high rise district will find it just 2.5 miles from AZ Hotel & Suites.
On the whole, guests were pretty pleased with the location of the hotel. While not quite in the very centre of Panama City, guests reported that there was nevertheless a great selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. They certainly didn't feel they needed to travel far for these amenities.
Recent guests were in agreement that both the rooms and public areas of the hotel were kept spotlessly clean for the duration of their trip. It seemed as if housekeeping were doing an incredible job.
While guests didn't usually go into great detail as to the reason why, many did say that they found the breakfast served at the hotel every morning to be top class and a great start to their day.
