Avalon Hotel & Conferences (Riga, Latvia)

Avalon is a 4 star hotel in Riga, Latvia which opened in June 2007. It is located in the Old Town and just a short walk from the main train station. There are 111 guest rooms and suites with en-suite bathroom, hair dryer, mini bar, room safe, iron and ironing board, telephone, flat screen television with cable TV channels and Pay-TV. Wireless high speed internet access is available throughout the hotel and is free of charge. Restaurant Avalon offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves an international cuisine. The lobby bar is open until midnight (for the last guest) for drinks and there is a roof terrace bar that is open in the summer. For conferences and events there are three meeting rooms available and the largest combination can hold up to 200 people, complete with modern technical equipment. Car access to the hotel is not possible without a permit, parking on site is possible, a reservation is required and charges will apply. An airport shuttle can be arranged for an additional cost.
