Arizona Christian University Hotel and Conference Center (Glendale, USA)

The Thunderbird Executive Inn and Conference Center in Glendale equally appeals to business travelers and to guests on vacation. The many attractions and activities of Arizona are in close proximity to the hotel. Being a campus accommodation is a plus besides offering classy rooms and amenities. Restaurants, antique shops and activities for recreation like hot air balloon rides are abundantly found near to the hotel. The Phoenix Sky International Airport is a 25 minute drive from the hotel.

The hotel has 134 plush rooms with attractive decor. Each room is equipped with flat screen satellite TV, mini refrigerator, work desk and tea or coffee maker. Bathrooms are supplied with free toiletries and hair dryer.

The hotel has an area of over 40,000 square feet for holding meetings and conferences. State of the art equipment is provided in six auditoriums and 24 meeting rooms. The hotel runs a complimentary pantry which includes a fridge stocked with items for a continental breakfast, cold drinks and self serving hot beverages. The pub is in a unique location in the former airfield control tower of Thunderbird and serves drinks in front of a large screen TV. A dining hall is also present in the campus. An outdoor pool, gym and ball courts are other amenities. Parking and Wi-Fi are complimentary.

The walls of the rooms are thin and sounds from the neighboring rooms can be heard clearly. The noise from the night club is disturbing and continues till late in the night. Beds are only marginally comfortable to sleep in. Water pressure in the shower is low.

Breakfast included does not have a good selection of items and needs improvement in quality.

The parking area and pool is located rather far from the rooms. The water in the pool is not heated.
