Ullapool’s museum contains various collections and exhibits that relate to the area. All of the information signs within the museum are displayed in both Gaelic and English. Other displays include the town’s connection with the Outer Hebrides and also the mass emigrations to the New World that occurred during the 19th century when many vessels set sail from Ullapool’s harbour. The museum is fully accessible by disabled visitors and it is open daily (except Sunday) during the summer months from 9.30am until 5.30pm. It is closed during the winter.
