Stupinigi Hunting Lodge (Nichelino, Italy)

Das Jagdschloss von Stupinigi wurde um 1730 vom Architekten Filippo Juvarra im Auftrag seines Dienstherren, Herzog Vittorio Amadeo II., geplant und errichtet. Die Anlage befindet sich in mitten der Jagdgründe des Herzogs und ihr zentraler Bestandteil ist das Barockschloss mit dem großen Kuppelsaal und den vier in Form eines Andreaskreuzes angelegten Seitenflügeln. Nur wenige Jahre nach Abschluss dieses Baus verfügte der neue Herzog Karl Emanuel III. die Erweiterung um diverse Gebäudeflügel und Ehrenhöfe. Das Schloss und der umgebende Park stehen auf der Liste des UNESCO Weltkulturerbes.
