Phra Nakhon Khiri historical park (Phetchaburi, Thailand)

The Phra Nakhon Khiri historical park is located on the Khao Wang Hill of Petchaburi. The main attraction of the park is the former summer palace (Phra Nakhon Kiri) of King Rama IV (Mongkut) that was built in 1858. On other peaks of this hill are a temple (Phra That Chom Phet) and an observatory tower (Hor Chatchavan Viangchai). The palace is now a museum and is open to he public. The original furniture is still present. No photos can be taken inside the palace. Several monkey populations live on the hill. A cable car leads to the hill (last entry 4pm every day). Entrance fees to the palace: 20 THB, 0.411134 Euro (Thai people), 150 THB 3.08346 Euro (foreigners)
