The architect Lluis Domènech i Montaner designed the Palau de la Música Catalana which took three years to build and was completed in 1908. The building became a World Heritage Site in 1997 and it still holds concerts to over 500,000 people each year. Various concerts are held at this venue, which include, jazz, symphonic and chamber music. English speaking guided tours are available at a cost of 10 Euros per person with concessions available. Open daily from 10:00am - 3:30pm August and Easter Week from 10:00am - 6:00pm
