Oriel College is the fifth oldest of Oxford’s colleges, founded in 1326 by King Edward II. It is located on Oriel Street, just south of Oxford’s High Street. The main part of the College includes four halls, all medieval: Bedel Hall, St Mary Hall, St Martin Hall and Tackley’s Inn (the oldest medieval hall in Oxford). The College has around 40 Fellows, 300 undergraduates and 150 graduates. The front quad is a mannerist artisan style building dating to the 17th century.
