Haigh Windmill (Wigan, United Kingdom)

Haigh Windmill near Wigan was built around 1845. It is a wind pump which was used to pump water to a local Haigh brewery. A £60,000 restoration project has just finished and saved this little mill from dereliction. Haigh Windmill is Greater Manchester’s last surviving windmill.
