Großer Müggelsee (Berlin, Germany)

The Großer Muggelsee is the largest lake in Berlin and lies to the south east in the district of Kopenick where the river Spree flows into it. It is 2.6 kilometres wide, 4.3 in length, up to 8 metres deep and covers an area of 7.4 square kilometres. There are many leisure activities available at the lake these include diving, swimming, water skiing, fishing, wind surfing, walking, jogging, nordic walking, ballooning and mini golf. Also available is bike rental, boat rental, boat tours and a sailing school. There are several restaurants and kiosks around the lake where some of the beaches are nudist. The Waterworks Museum Friedrichshagen lies on the north shore.
