The Falls of Clyde Wildlife Centre covers a large area of woodland along the River Clyde Gorge. With its four waterfalls it provides a habitat for a wide variety of animals (otter and deer) birds (falcons and owls), water fowl, wildflowers and insects. The Visitor Centre is near the World Heritage village of New Lanark. Close by are Corra Castle and The Hall of Mirrors. The visitor centre features interactive educational facilities, CCTV cameras and a gift shop. Opening hours Reserve Summer: 8am - 8pm Winter: hours of daylight Visitor Centre: 12pm - 4pm (Jan, Feb) 11am - 5pm (Mar - Dec) Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year Admission Adults: £3 Children (up to 16): free There is local parking. Wheelchair access to the visitor centre is good but access is limited on the adjacent Falls of Clyde reserve.
