The Durrow Scarecrow Festival takes place from Sunday 27th July up to 4th of August and welcomes more than 13,000 visitors each year. Nominated for the ‘Best Festival of 2012 & 2013’ by the Irish Times Ticket Awards this community run festival provides fantastic family entertainment and value for money along with a sprinkling of quirkiness. Being home to the All Ireland Scarecrow Championships, the festival is organised by the Durrow Development Forum with a clear focus of providing great value entertainment with music, family friendly shows, workshops, craft demonstrations and much.
