Arromanches 360 (Arromanches-les-Bains, France)

This exhibition presents a film called ‘The Price of Freedom’ over 9 screens in a 360 degree cinema. The film itself is a mixture of previously unreleased war footage with modern images of the same locations. The film has got a length of 18 minutes and has music and war sounds played in a surround sound system. While waiting to see the film, visitors can have a look at pictures of the Fiftieth Anniversary Landings commemorations in the exhibition hall. Arromanches 360 is open 7 days a week with a month’s closure in January. There are 2 shows every hour, one at 10 past and one at 20 to the hour. Opening hours are from 10.10 am and 5.10 pm, longer during the tourist season.
