The Zephyros Hotel has 32 rooms and is located in Cephalonia, Skala, Greece. It gives a spectacular view of the Skala beach. All the rooms are equipped with simple furnishings, air conditioning, mini-fridge and a safe deposit box. Balcony/terrace in the rooms give a sea view or a garden view. Bathrooms are provided with all the basic toiletries and a hair dryer. There is a fresh water swimming pool with poolside showers and umbrellas/sunbeds free of charge. Kids have a separate children’s pool. Parking and Wi-Fi are complimentary. Guests can enjoy themselves in the snack bar, satellite TV lounge, BBQ area and gardens. Facilities of money exchange, hairdresser and wedding planners can be availed. Continental breakfast is provided at a reasonable price. There are good restaurants and tavernas close to the hotel. Zephyros is close to the Dolphins Ski Club and is only six miles away from Port of Poros.
Guests liked the spread of the continental breakfast served which consisted of cereals, bread, cheese, Greek yoghurt etc. There were plenty of options to choose from at very reasonable prices. Onsite snack bar was also quite popular amongst the guests for its toasted sandwiches, burgers and salads.
All the guests loved the picturesque view of either the beach or gardens right from the balcony of each and every room. Some of the guests felt that it was like waking up in a different world altogether away from the noisy cities. Hotel staff was very friendly and hardworking with ever smiling faces.
There were many onsite activities for guests. They got the opportunity to visit the private vineyards of the hotel and experience the process of making wine all on their own. Guests loved the potato planting and harvesting process. Weekly BBQ nights enabled all the guests to chat up and have a good time together.
Few guests had a disappointing experience with smelly bathrooms and hair around the toilet and drain.
Since the hotel is located on a hill, some of the guests felt that the walk to the town was very long and tiring, especially during summers. They preferred to hire a cab instead.
Some guests were not too happy with the delayed Check-in which they felt could be because of the peak season and guests Checking-out late. Apart from few of these issues, majority of the guests were very happy with their stay in the hotel.
