Guests were pleased to find that this older Singapore property is clean and well-kept, providing a good standard of basic accommodation in this bustling city-state. In terms of location, this hotel afforded guests easy access to some of Singapore’s most famous shopping areas, including Orchard Road and the Far East Plaza.

Boasting an array of room configurations, this hotel was incredibly popular with families large and small. The range of mattress sizes was a nice perk, a point that helped to ensure a good night’s rest for all.

The reception team here is incredibly helpful and friendly. Whether it’s routing lost luggage or providing an extra set of towels, they seem to go out of their way to accommodate guests. This was something that really raised the profile of this property.In terms of amenities, guests were pleased to find that the Wi-Fi was good and strong. Additionally, many commented that the pool at the centre of this property was very well-kept.

Those hoping to access wider Singapore by public transport were disappointed to note that the nearest MRT station was about a 15-minute walk away from this hotel.

Many felt that the breakfast here could be improved. Most found the menu to be limited and repetitive and the portion sizes stingy. Also, there appeared to be a widespread issue with smoky smells here, especially in corridors. Guests noted that these smells infiltrated rooms and especially carpets.

While certain rooms here have been refurbished, many commented that the exterior of this building and some of its public walkways could use sprucing up.
