While this hotel probably won't suit guests who want to step outside and have the city on their doorstep, you can't really fault the location if you're happy to drive. That said, more than one guest describes the walk to the popular Princes Street as a pleasant 40-minute stroll through interesting surroundings.

Guests tend to appreciate the selection of facilities available. There's a good chance that you won't be left wanting for much here. Having so many amenities close at hand certainly adds convenience to your stay.

Guests are pleased by the standard of the rooms, often commenting on the clean surroundings and the comfortable beds. Those who paid for the upgrade were generally impressed, although a few mention that they were unable to pause or record the Sky TV.

While it's fair to say that many guests enjoyed the dining on offer, there are occasional slip-ups in the quality of the food and the standard of the service. Several guests were disappointed with their meal and mention lengthy waits. Plus, guests who booked afternoon tea felt that presentation was poor.

It also seemed to some guests that when staff were willing to help, it was to pitch the upgraded rooms rather than offer any tangible assistance.

Although guests tend to rate the leisure facilities highly, there is some concern about how busy the likes of the pool and sauna are. Monthly memberships are available to non-guests, so you shouldn't expect to be one of a few people using these amenities.
