The 4-star Vanilla Aparthotel aparthotel complex offers elegant apartment accommodation in south-western Krakow, within a 20-minute drive of the Krakow Old Town, Jagiellonian University Campus, Kazimierz and Krakow Glowny Central Station. Guests have free access to the Cascada Sports Centre and Day Spa, less than ten minutes’ walk away. All apartments include a 32” LED TV, kitchenette with fridge, microwave and kettle, free Wi-Fi, a telephone and en-suite bathroom with hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. A conference and banquet hall for up to 60 people is available, guests can enjoy panoramic views from the viewing terrace, and free parking and a small shopping centre are on site. The on-site Oregano restaurant serves Italian and Polish cuisine. Vanilla Aparthotel is minutes away from trams, connecting to the Main Market Square and Wawel Castle in less than 20 minutes.
Vanilla was said to be found in a quiet neighbourhood, away from the downtown noise and tourists, but still close to bus and tram stops, meaning you can cheaply reach the Krakow city centre in around 15 to 20 minutes. Guests were also happy to find that there is a supermarket and other shops in the same building.
The apartments here are said to be modern, well-appointed, clean and spacious, and guests thought they offered good value for money. On top of this, there is free parking available on site and good Wi-Fi, even if having to re-enter passwords occasionally proved to be a pain.
Guests thought the staff members here were very professional, polite and helpful, and said they proved to be a great with booking trips. The breakfast buffet reportedly offers a wide variety of continental and cooked fare — although a few people would have like more tea options than just black tea — and the Italian/Polish restaurant was thought to be very good.
Some of those who stayed at Vanilla aparthotel said that it was somewhat far from the city centre, which was a slight inconvenience for some of those who wanted to spend a lot of time there. However, the majority of people did not seem to mind the short tram ride downtown.
