Tropical Seas Hotel (Myrtle Beach, USA)

The staff at the hotel really know what they are doing. They make you feel extremely welcome and nothing is too much trouble.

The kitchenette is well equipped with enough dishes and everything else. The huge refrigerator with freezer is great for storing things you purchase from outside the hotel like produce and other goodies.

The hotel and the area is great for families or groups. It's rather quiet so you don't have the party people coming in late at night slamming doors and talking loud. The amenities are good for the family and it has an overall pleasant atmosphere. Parking is close to the beach too.

The elevator needs a good cleaning, and the air conditioner leaks terribly in the room and the hallway. Complimentary extras like shampoo and the like are also missing. Perhaps it's not a big deal, but this may depend on how long you plan on staying at the facility.

The price is a bit high considering that a good upgrade is due.

There is no breakfast, which is really a bummer. It's nice to be able to have a nice breakfast in the place you stay when traveling. Even if you have cooking facilities in the room, just knowing that a breakfast is on offer from the hotel makes you feel cherished as a visitor at the facility.
