There’s a genuinely friendly welcome here and the hosts know the area like the back of their combined hands – so there’s no shortage of things to do and places to visit.

Spacious and with all the desired facilities; rooms form a great base for breaks in this peaceful area of Wales.

This is a public bar and popular with lots of friendly locals. Meals are served at lunchtime and in the evening and Sunday lunch is a favourite with visiting guests and locals alike.

The food is OKish, but priced a bit on the high side. Choices are quite limited as well.

It’s a nice enough pub with plenty of atmosphere. Rooms though, are on the verge of needing a major overhaul. They’re clean enough but missing tiles and cracked sinks in the bathroom, give rise to some concern.

Hard to swallow the extra charge for breakfast.

More and more ‘B+Bs’ see an opportunity to raise more income by charging 'extra' for "breakfast" – something which features prominently in their title! It certainly leaves a nasty taste on the paying customer’s part.
