The personnel at the guest house are courteous and professional. The ambiance is charming, cosy, and clean. The rooms are well equipped with what you need and even some extras. There's plenty of drawer and cupboard space as well. The bathroom is large and very well designed.
A good selection of delicious food is served in the dining room. The pizza is delightful, cooked in a real oven, and homemade. Whether you order breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you won't be disappointed. Wine choices are great too. If you are a meat eater, give the chilly burger or lamb liver a try.
You will find plenty of free private parking, which is great if you plan on driving to Chester. The location allows you to remain outside of the hustle and bustle, but not too far away. The Wi-Fi works well too.
It would be great if the facility had a place for visitors to sit. There is no bar seating area, which takes away from the cosiness of the accommodations a bit.
If you have stayed in hotels in the vicinity, you may feel that this hotel is a bit too expensive. The facility is more akin to a pub bed and breakfast than an actual hotel.
Service is a bit slow. For example, you can find yourself waiting for your morning breakfast a bit too long when you'd rather be out enjoying the location. Another thing, there is no lift in the facility, so you will end up carrying your luggage up several flights of stairs.
