Although close to many of the attractions in Fort Lauderdale, the hotel is tucked away and overlooks the ocean which provides a very peaceful and picturesque backdrop. The Pillars is located on the waterfront and guests were pleased to find that they could board the water taxi on-site and quickly reach all the local amenities.
The food at the restaurant was described as being of good quality and guests said that the service was also of high standard. During finer weather guests could enjoy their meals on the dock overlooking the ocean which many described as a very pleasant experience. The breakfasts were also said to be tasty with plenty of items to choose from.
Most of the rooms have their own private balconies and have been described as spacious and comfortable by many who stayed here. The decor was said to be modern whilst the furniture and upholstery were also described as being of good quality.
Some of the guests mentioned that the sound insulation is rather inadequate as they were able to hear everything going on in the adjoining suites. Noise could also be heard from the rooms above according to the guests who stayed on the lower floors.
The outdoor-pool was described as quite small as guests said that it was adequate for a dip but that they were not able to swim any laps in it.
