The warm and friendly staff welcomes you at check in and is there for you throughout your stay. They are happy to accommodate most any request and point you in the direction of local sights, eateries and entertainments.

The Wi-Fi is spotty in the guest rooms at Lansdowne and Conference Centre Ltd., which could be problematic if you’re travelling on business or want to get an email out in a hurry. Overall, your best bet for decent reception is in the public spaces, where reception is usually spot on.

This property is in need of a facelift. Aging furnishings, bathroom fixtures that are in need of replacement, worn carpeting and draperies, make this hotel less-than-appealing on an aesthetic level.

You may have to wait for service in the restaurant, especially on weekends and during their busy season. It seems they are quite understaffed, which can prove to be frustrating if you’re hungry or in a hurry.
