With the complimentary breakfast and other meals receiving rave reviews, the restaurant was understandably seen as one of the biggest benefits about staying at the Heathmount. Moreover, the hotel's two bar areas were also admired by past visitors for their ambience and wide selection of drinks available.
The style and well-appointed nature of the rooms was typically praised by former guests of the hotel. In addition, the rooms were regularly labelled as immaculately clean and tidy throughout.
Many previous visitors have highlighted the customer service as one of the best aspects about their stay at the Heathmount. The staff members were typically characterised as incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive.
The Heathmount's on-site parking has proved to be one of the most common negatives for those that have travelled to the hotel in their own vehicle. It has been stated that the parking lot is small, with a limited amount of spaces available.
The quality of the hotel's Wi-Fi was a disappointment for various former guests that attempted to access the facility during their stay. It was claimed on occasion that it was difficult to access the Wi-Fi in rooms on the higher floors of the accommodation.
Whilst some of the rooms have been generally described as somewhat small in terms of size, the Heathmount's attic rooms in particular were highlighted in that regard as being claustrophobic. This was partly attributed to the supposedly low ceilings in the attic rooms.
