Wow! Here is a piano bar featuring, not piped music, but a real, live, entertaining and talented pianist! An unusual feature and one that appeals to everyone. Long may it continue.

Breakfast is fine and the choices for later eating are varied and designed to influence you to stay in the hotel rather than venture out. This works because, with what’s on offer here, there’s little point in venturing out at night when everything you wan

It doesn’t get much better than this. Near the sea and an easy walk into the busy centre of Douglas.

Rooms are on the small side and beds don’t seem to be full length either.

Choose tomorrow’s dinner, today.

They are taking the 'processed peas' with this one! Fancy asking for dinner choices, not even at breakfast but a full 24+ hours prior to the event. Not acceptable in today’s world.

Unless you’ve got a sea view room, you run the risk of looking out on to views you’d rather not see. Rooms in this category tend to be quieter though, so it comes down to choice, cost and room availability.
