From the moment you check in, the staff goes out of their way to provide great service and a wonderful, homely experience. They are happy to accommodate most any request and regale you with local history of the town and the hotel.

It’s first come, first served at Crown’s small car park which can fill up quickly. This may leave you having to search for alternative parking which can certainly be frustrating.

Getting warm water in the shower is tricky.
If this is your first time staying here, you might be confused as to how to get warm water in the shower. This is accomplished by pulling a rope above your head, which then releases plenty of warm water, but the learning curve is a bit tricky.
