One of only two significant buildings to survive the 1931 earthquake, The County Hotel is a veritable institution in Napier. Its classical art-deco style and traditional bar and restaurant evoke the opulent feel of the early twentieth century. The 18 luxurious rooms and decadent Regal Suite enhance this hotel's old-world charm. They do, however, integrate modern creature comforts such as SKY TV, DVD players and mobile phones for guests' use. Some also feature spa baths and balconies.
