The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel and Spa is in a central location in downtown making it convenient for both guests on business or leisure travel. It has easy accessibility to various important places in the city. The Bienville Square and Gulf Coast Exploreum are within a five minute walk from the hotel. Famous museums like National African Archives and Museum and Museum of Mobile are about a 15-minute walk. The USS Battleship Alabama Memorial Park is around three miles from the hotel.

The rooms are modern and equipped with 42" flat screen satellite TVs. Desks and coffee makers are present. Upgraded rooms are given access to the Club lounge and free amenities like breakfast, desserts and hors d'oeuvres. Some rooms have fireplaces.

The hotel is equipped for business guests with a business center and 21 meeting rooms including a ballroom. Conferences and events can take place in the space. There is an outdoor heated pool and a full service spa where guests can enjoy swims and relaxing treatments. For sports and fitness there are tennis courts and a gym. The restaurant at the hotel offers casual dining and the menu consists of freshly cooked food with locally available ingredients. There is a café for snacks and a tavern for martinis and live music. Wi-Fi access is a complimentary facility in both the rooms and in the other places of the hotel.

Housekeeping staff is reportedly rude and inefficient. Some guests have complained about dirty bed covers, and holes and stains in the duvets.

The bathrooms have been found to be dirty with mold under the door and under the cabinet over the sink by some guests. Wall papers are coming off.

Only valet parking is available but the valets are not trained and appear confused and unaware.
