The new owners of this hotel have gone to great lengths to address the issues of dated décor and have outdone themselves. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very modern but with a traditional feel that makes you feel right at home.
The bar downstairs can get quite busy and is open late on the weekends. A lot of the noise from below makes its way through to the rooms, however it seems that the new owners are looking to address this situation.
The Wi-Fi signal seems to depend on where you are staying in the hotel. It's certainly not very strong, and if you're unlucky, you might not get connected at all. Best not to rely on it for any critical work related emails.
