The staff at The Ainscow is friendly, helpful, and accommodating, according to most reviews. The personable bartenders at the onsite bar, especially, are a major highlight. If you run into any problems, the hotel staff will try to resolve it in an efficient manner. Negative Reviews

negative:

Noise

Though most guests didn't have a complaint, some found that in a few of the rooms, noise from street traffic can be bothersome. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to bring a pair of earplugs as a precaution, and ask for a quieter room away from the roads.

negative:

Window Woes

Some guests disliked the ground floor rooms because of the lack of privacy. The windows open right to street level and bar visitors like to loiter around the hotel entrance. On a related note, there are also several rooms that do not have real windows and several guests found that to be uncomfortable.

negative:

Stuffy

A few guests found their room temperature too warm for comfort. While the windows within the rooms open, guests say you'll have to shut them when going to bed due to noise from the street traffic.
