Well decorated and cleaned; rooms include a good size bathroom. Dogs tend to be better behaved than kids, so it's good that the hotel is pet friendly. Also, no expensive boarding kennel required!

Whatever the time of day or night ...there's a plentiful supply of cookies, coffee and fresh fruit. waiting for you.

Staff are exceptionally good and always welcoming. Both the pool and fitness facilities are excellent, well maintained and clean. Breakfast, too, is appetizing and above the standard normally expected.

Add to the dated aspect of rooms and furnishings, the laissez faire attitude to cleaning forms part of a not all together attractive picture. Some issues could be addressed without any major expense and in this respect; the management's attention must be directed to the quality of laundry, pillows and general room supplies.

Folk seem to be encouraged to smoke immediately outside the hotel, creating an appalling first impression and a potential health hazard for arriving guests.

The breakfast is borderline OK, but at least it's free. No, it isn't 'free'! You've paid for it within the scope of your tariff. Breakfast, then, is sub-standard + obviously needs improving to merit the money paid. *Universal providers of 'free' and 'complimentary' breakfasts; should take this on board!
