Guests found the rooms to be simple yet comfortable with much appreciated amenities such as air-conditioning, heated bathroom floors, blackout curtains and windows that can be opened. What guests were pleasantly surprised by were the sliding doors separating the bedrooms from the hallway to block out noise.
Amenities provide comfort and relaxation
Guests reported that the hotel's many wellness services such as the indoor pool, the steam room, the sauna, the spa and the gym provided a welcome distraction from traveling, as they were efficient, clean and of decent size.
Convenient shuttle service
With the hotel's convenient location near the airport, a lot of guests found the shuttle bus service to be an excellent alternative to public transportation. Guests also appreciated the additional, albeit paid, service to downtown Amsterdam.
Not much to do nearby
While the hotel is close to the airport, its somewhat remote location may not be ideal for tourists trying to explore the city of Amsterdam, which is a 30-minute drive away. If guests want to enjoy food outside of the hotel, they will have to take a taxi or embark on a 12-minute bicycle ride to get to nearby restaurants.
Rooms not immaculate
Given the clean and modern appearance of the hotel, several guests were surprised to find old and dirty sheets and towels as well as worn furniture in their rooms.
Wi-Fi hit or miss
A few guests could not enjoy the hotel's free Wi-Fi even though the hotel installed an extender in the room after guests had complained.
