Travellers generally describe the hotel's location as very convenient, as it is easy to find from the Interstate and within walking distance of several casual restaurants and a Whole Foods grocery store. Lots of big box shopping within a short drive, too. It's about 15 minutes from downtown Greenville and also very close to the airport.

Guests generally like the fresh new look of the rooms, noting the older building has recently completed a successful (if much-needed and temporarily inconvenient) renovation. The roomy, practical layout, full kitchens, free laundry, and high standard of housekeeping make the hotel particularly popular with families and extended stay travellers. The outdoor fire pit and poolside grilling area are also also widely described as inviting, even when the pool is closed for the season.

Many guests are pleased with the "extras" included in the reasonable room rates: the breakfast earns many positive reviews for quality and day-to-day variety, and the alcoholic beverages at the evening social are also much appreciated.
