The fact that you can walk to most places of interest from here within 10-15 minutes tells you all you need to know about the Star's location. Having the main Avenue Jacques Médecin so close by is a real bonus too, as it means you can catch the tram to most visitor spots whenever you feel like giving your feet a rest.
Between 07.00 and 11.00 every morning you can get a hot drink (coffee, tea, chocolate), fruit juice (orange, pineapple, apple), cereal (cornflakes, coco pops, Special K, muesli), butter and jam (strawberry and apricot), natural yoghurt, honey, nutella, cheese (kiri, Leerdamer), fresh fruit (orange, apple), bread and pastries baked on-site (croissants, pain au chocolat) and still come away with change from ten Euros. Not bad at all.
The street on which the hotel is located (Rue Biscarra) is surprisingly lively at night, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Be sure to bring some ear plugs along if you're a light sleeper.
