Sheraton Madison Hotel (Madison, USA)

Sheraton Madison guests have been happy with the quality of dishes served at the on-site Heartland Grille. Fresh, delicious and high quality food is served in an attractive conference type setting. Vegetarian and vegan preferences are well catered.

The hotel's staff is very friendly, courteous and professional. Guests are treated to gift bags, a bucket of sparkling water, and a thank you note upon checking in the rooms. Guests have been pleasantly surprised to find that the level of customer service remained consistently high throughout their stay in the hotel.

The hotel is located close to the famous Capitol with all its fine restaurants and great night life. Despite being quite close to the busy Metropolis, the hotel is very serene and quiet, including the rooms which sport ample sound-proofing to keep the noise out.

Sheraton Madison is beginning to show its age and needs some upgrades. Guests have reported that the rooms need to be a bit bigger. The décor is a bit dated and the veneer is peeling off in some places. The air-conditioning units in some rooms are not very effective and temperatures inside the rooms can get quite uncomfortable.

Although the hotel maintains a no-pet policy in the rooms, some guests have reported that they suffered some serious allergic reactions from rooms after staying in rooms that had previously hosted pets.

Many guests have reported being surprised that a Sheraton hotel fails to provide a complimentary breakfast which is pretty standard procedure in many four-star establishments.
