Senator Banús Spa Hotel is a striking adults-only hotel designed to look like a cruise liner. The rooms have received lots of compliments and are large, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Most rooms have a balcony overlooking the pool. Many reviews have also said that the rooms are very quiet leading to a good night’s sleep. The suites cost extra but are worth it for the extra luxury.
Guests have felt very welcome from the moment they entered the hotel and feel the staff go above and beyond to help you.
There are various board bases available at the hotel but it is worth upgrading to include breakfast and dinner as the food is to a very high standard. Breakfast in particular has received lots of praise due to the variety and quality of food available.
Although Wi-Fi is available at the hotel it can be difficult to access and once you are logged in it can be unreliable and disconnects you.
The vast majority of guests have loved the location, stating that it’s an easy bus or taxi ride to Puerto Banus, Marbella or Estepona. However, a handful of reviews have said they felt a little isolated without car hire. There is a beach within walking distance but again some guests have felt it was worth a visit whilst others have preferred to stay at the hotel pool.
The pool can get very busy and therefore you need to get up early in order to get a sun lounger. The hotel is popular with groups on a weekend and therefore at these times it may be even busier.
