This property has been going through refurbishments and guests loved the fresh clean look of the rooms. The bed was comfortable and plenty of pillows were provided. Moreover, the bathroom was fully functional and had a perfectly good shower. Clean towels were also provided daily.
Guests enjoyed the pub serving delicious food located downstairs. They offered good meals and wide variety of drinks including great selection of wines at reasonable price. There were lots of different dishes with big serving. Furthermore, the great vibe this pub had was perfect while spending a lovely evening with friends or family.
Breakfast is included in the room rates and guests find it excellent! It was a massive full English and freshly cooked meal. There was a selection of cereals, tea, coffee, juice, and a choice of cooked breakfasts that was very filling! Truly, this became the highlight for previous guests.
Pub closes at 11 in the evening so it was noisy until late night. This annoyed most guests particularly those whose rooms were located directly over the bar area. Aside from the loud music, there was also slamming of the doors, as well as shouting from the drunk guests.
Guests were extremely upset because they cannot access the advertised free Wi-Fi. It was impossible to connect and attempting to log in was just a waste of time.
Many guests were excited to try the good food served in the pub but they were disappointed because of the slow service. They complained that they were waiting too long before the food was served. According to them, the management needs to take a serious look at its pub operations.
