Royal Hotel (Ross-on-Wye, United Kingdom)

There's no denying the beauty of the setting being the biggest draw for this locale.  The atmosphere of the building and ambience of the pub set against stunning river views, roaring open log fires, gorgeous gardens and tranquil outdoor seating are stupendously popular.  Perfect as a base for exploring the Wye Valley area's attractions or taking a relaxing evening stroll through the greenery.  This is a very clean accommodation, recently refurbished to excellent standards, offering convenient free parking, tasty beer and Wi-Fi throughout the premises.  

Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, pleasant furnishings and amenities, plenty of charm and outstanding views.

Friendly, helpful and efficient staff, very much willing to go above and beyond for their guests' comforts, will surely dazzle all throughout their stay.

When it gets busy, service appears to suffer, as the schedule is either short-staffed or otherwise unprepared for large groups. There aren't sufficient alternative choices on the menu, such as for vegetarians.

For those accustomed, the lack of lift may be a bit distressing, particularly if they have difficulty climbing stairs.

Some had difficulty connecting for most of their stay.
