Richmond was found to be perfectly placed right on the promenade, with lovely views out over Cardigan Bay and was also found to be within easy walking distance of most attractions in Aberystwyth. Those travelling by train found it easily accessible and there was also adequate, free parking for those driving further afield.
The service here was found to be of a very high quality, with guests considering the staff to be charming, attentive and efficient, creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Guests thought the dinner menu was good, but the breakfasts in particular were said to be excellent, with a wide choice of continental options, including plenty of fruit and cooked meals with large portions. The cherry on top? Guests enjoyed this with seaside views.
While Richmond does have a lot of stairs to contend with and no lift, the staff has proved helpful in carrying luggage up, so only keep this in mind in case one of your party is not so mobile.
