Guests were pleased to find that they did not need to rely on transport to reach the city’s attractions as many of them are within walking distance. Many appreciated being a short walk away from the Great American Ball Park and also found it handy having numerous restaurants and bars on their doorstep.

The rooms have been described as tastefully decorated with modern pieces of furniture and quality upholstery. Guests said they had everything they needed for a comfortable stay including work desks and numerous electrical outlets which came in handy for charging laptops and phones.

From the valet through to the front-desk staff all of the hotel personnel have been described as pleasant and eager to help. Guests who approached the staff with various concerns and issues said they were resolved quickly and effectively and said that they felt well-looked after during their entire stay.

Guests reported several maintenance issues ranging from blocked drains and slow draining sinks through to fused light bulbs and faulty electrical appliances. Those who reported the issues said they were resolved in a timely manner.

Those whose rooms were situated on the lower floors objected to the  uninspiring views from their rooms as their windows looked out onto the walls of the nearby buildings and office blocks. If you are keen on a scenic view it’s advisable to ask for a room on one of the higher floors.

At times when parties or events where held at the hotel guests said that they had to wait longer than expected for the valet to bring them their car. Many observed that there were too few valet staff available which also contributed to the delays.
