Guests were clearly wowed when first walking into the property. They said that the lobby was not only very impressive, in scale and ambition, but also had an attractive design that made the want to spend time there.

Considering the great number of guest reviews reporting that the beds were very comfortable, and the lack of any real comments to the contrary, it seems reasonable to conclude that the hotel’s bed buyer has somehow achieved the difficult task of selecting a mattress with truly broad appeal.

Guests were very pleasantly surprised when laying eyes on their room for the first time. A number reported that they found them to be bigger than other hotel rooms in this category, including other Holiday Inn properties.

Quite a number of guests felt that their rooms looked very dated. It wasn’t usually that they found any specific functional problem, but that they felt the room décor was caught in an unappealing middling position. Not old enough to look classic and not new enough to look trendy and appealing. They felt that it was time for an update.

Guests were clearly disappointed that their room did not contain these two amenities. Many were expecting them, based on previous stays at their Holiday Inn properties, and were upset they had nowhere to keep their cold drinks nice and cold and a place to heat up a quick snack.

A number of guests were disappointed to discover that, unlike many other Holiday Inn’s, this one does not include a continental breakfast in its standard room-rate. Also, they found the breakfast that was available to purchase quite expensive for what was offered.
