Radstone Hotel (Larkhall, United Kingdom)

The hotel is surrounded by acres of manicured grounds and woodland which provide a very picturesque backdrop. Guests appreciated the views of the lush green countryside and also found it convenient being close to transport links. The M74 is in close proximity to the hotel making it an ideal base for those wishing to explore other parts of Scotland.

The rooms have been described as having a modern decor with many stating that they looked like they were recently refurbished. Guests appreciated having all the necessary mod-cons including air-conditioning and ironing equipment and also complimented the well-presented bathrooms which were said to have top-notch fixtures and fittings.

Guests who dined at the on-site restaurant said that the food was well-prepared and full of flavour whilst the portions were described as generous. Many were able to find their favourite dish on the extensive menus which catered for various tastes as well as dietary requirements.

Some guests mentioned that the service in the restaurant was rather sluggish as they experienced delays in placing and receiving their orders. The slow service was particularly noticeable at times when functions were being held at the hotel.

Guests reported a range of  minor  issues ranging from faulty lights, loose toilet seats and slow draining sinks and showers. Quite a few also mentioned that the rooms were too dark as they only had bed side lamps and lacked a ceiling light.

Some mentioned that they could  hear noise from the adjoining rooms due to poor soundproofing  whilst those whose rooms were close to the function suite said they were disturbed by loud music which often lasted until late in the evening.
