While guests describe all of the rooms as sparkling clean, with comfortable beds and adequate space, guests who pay a little more to stay in a suite, or in one of the Superior or Business Class rooms, generally agree that they provide very good value, as these rooms include the Super Breakfast Buffet, which is not inexpensive purchased separately. The buffet offers a wide variety of hot and cold options, and several guests are charmed by the DIY freshly squeezed orange juice.

Guests note that the free shuttle is very easy to use, as the stop is nearby and tickets are only required for the service from the hotel to the airport. The shuttle departs every 20 minutes or so, and guests agree that the drivers are cheerful and polite, often offering to help guests with their bags. As the shuttle stops near the train station as well as the airport terminals, guests often use to the service to connect with the train into Amsterdam city centre.

Several guests were irritated that they could not use the mini fridges to store their own drinks, as they are equipped with sensors for tracking the pricey, pre-stocked items; just moving items about resulted in extra charges for some guests.

While guests on business find the area convenient, they also note that there are very few entertainment or dining options within walking distance.

Many guests have noted that there are few English or American television channels available, and that they cost extra.
