The majority of guests were impressed by the standard of the rooms at the Premier Inn Portsmouth Havant. Although yet to benefit from the upgrade that has taken place in many of the other hotels in the chain, remarks about comfortable beds, powerful showers, sumptuous pillows and clean surroundings are commonplace.

Although for the most part, guests describe the rooms as of a good standard, there are a few niggles to contend with. By far the most irritating seems to be the lack of air-conditioning but guests also had trouble accessing channels on the TV and found there were too few towels provided.

The hotel itself attracts very few negative remarks but the same can’t be said of the restaurant. Apparently, the décor is quite tired, the staff aren't as friendly and attentive as they are in the hotel and the food is often average at best.
