Guests appreciate the proximity of the hotel to Manchester, finding the city centre easy to access thanks to the A62 (Oldham Road). Additionally, nearby motorway links make it simple enough to reach the likes of Bolton and Rochdale.
Although a fair number of guests are satisfied with the hotel rooms, others found them far too dated for their liking. The biggest issues seem to found in the bathrooms which some guests describe as a mix of 70's pink tiles and modern floors - rather like a job half done. Some mould is also noticed.
The lack of air-conditioning in the rooms posed a problem for some guests. Over the summer, it's likely that you'll find the rooms are a little too hot for comfort. Fans are provided but these may not necessarily have the desired effect.
It's a probably a good thing that work is taking place to update this hotel (as of early 2016). An extension is being built and the rooms and common areas are getting a full refresh.However, in the meantime, there is some disruption to contend with.
