If you like to stay in the heart of a city, the Premier Inn Manchester City Centre MEN Arena - Printworks is a good choice. Plenty of the city’s most popular destinations are within walking distance. Plus, it’s convenient if you want to shop at the Arndale Centre.
The refurbished rooms offer a good standard of accommodation that guests tend to describe as smart and stylish. The public areas of the hotel also attract plenty of positive comments for their appearance.
A number of guests felt that the promise of free Wi-Fi was a little misleading since when they went to use it, they found it too slow to be of much use. In order to stream or download anything, you will need to pay for the upgraded service. The cost is not excessive but frustrating nonetheless.
In city centre hotels, guests tend to be expecting and accepting of a little external noise. What guests probably weren't expecting was the loud building work going on near the hotel. Presumably this will draw to a close at some point but earplugs are a good bet in the meantime.
Every now and again, guests have trouble using the automated check-in procedure and are forced to ask staff for help. Unfortunately, some of these guests felt like the request was a nuisance to staff. Also, some guests arrived at the allocated check-in time to find their rooms weren't ready.
